I started several writings for this page, but always stopped or put them in my personal notebook to never be seen. Finally it occured to me why. It was in fact hitting just too close to home.
Seems recently, the last 5 years, I have walked thru some of the biggest changes and darkest hours I've ever known. Very often I probably didn't realize just how dark they'd gotten, as I was too busy being "tuff" and "surviving" for loved ones around me.
Along the way, I met a friend. Someone who opened up his heart, and let me know that in his presence, for as much and as long as I needed, I did not have to be tuff. I could calmly fall apart, be myself, and have the space and time needed to carefully pick up all my broken pieces and put them back together in a stronger way.
For his trouble, he asked nothing in return. His offer was simple. And for the first time in a very long time I knew it was ok to have faith in someone. I was able to take some strong looks around me and at myself, make some much needed changes, come to terms with some things that had never promised to be easy, and move into a new place in my life.
My friend never let go. By teaching me to have a little faith in his friendship, he taught me to have a renewed faith in myself. This is a gift beyond comparison. I consider myself a very fortunate lady to have known someone willing to give so much of themself. Thank You.

I've been asked where I get my music. I buy (too much) from BMG Music, (too much) from Ebay, WallyWorld, and have some amazingly generous friends & family who know I enjoy my cds.
