All I can say is God Bless Us.
How can a country that feels so much emotion watching our flag fly
and hearing the words to our National Anthem
get in such chaos that we forget the very things we learned as children are important?
OH, that's right, WE learned it, we 'old fogies',
but our kids and our grandkids, they don't get to go hear GOD, COUNTRY, FAMILY at every turn.
They don't get to say a prayer at the pep rally as an entire group to show respect & bless a teacher who is ill or a classmate who needs help.
No the powers that be are allowing these things to be taken away from our future generations.
In the process, they are taking away fundamental moral essence.
Our children don't learn to enjoy the pleasure of giving for no reason,
of respecting the old lady next door,
or of consideration for the man down the street trying to carry twice his load limit.
They don't learn to understand the concept of praying for the men and women who fight for our country
or the family from church who lost their job.
I for one will miss,
TRULY MISS,
the charity that comes with belief in prayer and in respect for our flag.
How far down will the powers that be let us get before they realize and do something about the loss of these amazing childrens potential for kindness?
Every time I see a young adult stand up for God & Country it brings such a sense of pride to me I swell up.
I want this feeling for all our children and theirs.
So, all I can say is, God Bless Us
